During Bing’s initial launch, a lot of speculators and critics claimed that the spike in traffic was purely due to public interest & curiosity. Bing now appears to be a real competitor to the Google search monopoly. Bing is successful so far because it has the cashback program, it has twitter search results, a massive $100 million marketing budget, and the ability to retain new users.

More importantly, search results in Bing are great and are organized in a way where it is actually useful for the user. And for those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to try out Bing, here is a test for your search preference between Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
