| Next Post »SAN DIEGO, California – Steve Ballmer, the CEO of Microsoft, unveiled Bing for the first time to the public at the All Things Digital Conference. What really came to surprise was the fact that Microsoft had kept the news of Bing so quiet.
In the past, Microsoft usually placed great effort to promote their new products and services prior to the schedule launch date. As well, in the past Microsoft usually provided the technological community with Beta trial versions of their products for testing and user reports.
It seems that Microsoft had kept Bing a secret so that it could catch up to the Google search engine. As well, it was confirmed that during the development process, Bing was tested by internal Microsoft employees.
